The Craghoppers Kiwi Pro III Short is designed for active adult women seeking versatile outdoor apparel. Its key benefit is providing comfort and protection during summer adventures with water-resistance and insect defense. A potential caveat is that the material may not be suitable for extreme cold. These shorts offer outstanding day-long comfort and protection, featuring a water-resistant finish, three zipped pockets for secure storage, Nosi Defence fabric to deter biting insects, and UPF 50+ sun protection.

Yes, the lightweight and breathable nature of the fabric makes them suitable for hot weather. The UPF 50+ protection is also beneficial in intense sun.
Nosi Defence is designed to help create a barrier against biting insects. While highly effective, it's not an absolute guarantee against all insect encounters in all conditions.
The shorts have a water-resistant finish, meaning they can repel light rain and splashes. They are not fully waterproof, so prolonged heavy rain may eventually soak through.
The Kiwi Pro III Short distinguishes itself with the combination of active stretch fabric, enhanced water-resistance (H2OShield), Nosi Defence insect repellent technology, and UPF 50+ sun protection, making them a highly functional all-around outdoor short.
Refer to the sizing chart provided by Craghoppers, comparing your measurements to their specific size guide for women's shorts. The product description notes this is a Size 18 UK.
The water-resistant finish is durable but not permanent. It can degrade over time with wear and washing. You can reapply a suitable water-repellent treatment to maintain performance.
Reapply a water-repellent finish using a product suitable for outdoor apparel. Follow the product's instructions for application. Regular washing with fabric conditioner can also reduce water-repellency over time.
Ensure you are using the correct washing temperature and avoiding harsh detergents. Tumble drying on a low heat setting can help restore softness. Avoid ironing on high heat.
Check for any fabric caught in the zipper. Gently try to move the zipper back and forth. A small amount of wax or a dry lubricant designed for zippers can help improve smooth operation.
Setup: These shorts require no setup; they are ready to wear out of the package.
Compatibility: Designed for adult women, these shorts are suitable for a range of activities including hiking, walking, travel, and casual wear. They pair well with t-shirts, blouses, and hiking boots or trainers.
