The Café Olé BFD cafetière has a capacity of 700ml, which is approximately 6 standard cups.
No, this cafetière is not dishwasher safe. It should be handwashed with warm, soapy water.
It is constructed from premium 18/10 stainless steel.
The double-wall construction creates an insulating air gap between the inner and outer walls of the carafe, significantly reducing heat loss and keeping your beverage hotter for longer.
The metal handle features a hollow design to prevent heat transmission, keeping it cool to the touch while serving.
Yes, this cafetière is suitable for brewing both ground coffee and loose-leaf tea.
The dimensions are approximately H:18 x W:17 x D:9 cm (please note: product data also lists 15.5 x 12 x 20cm, verify preferred dimensions).
Ensure the coffee is ground coarsely. Fine grinds can pass through the mesh filter. Check that the plunger and filter assembly are properly secured.
Confirm the lid is properly sealed after pressing the plunger. Ensure the double-wall construction is not compromised. Pre-warm the carafe with hot water before brewing.
While designed to be cool-touch, extreme external temperatures or prolonged immersion in hot water may cause some heat transfer. Ensure only the carafe is exposed to hot liquid, not the handle itself.
This can indicate the coffee grind is too fine, or too much coffee has been used, creating resistance. Try a coarser grind or slightly less coffee. Ensure the filter is clean and free of blockages.
Setup: No assembly is required. Ensure the plunger and filter are correctly seated before use.
Compatibility: Suitable for brewing ground coffee or loose-leaf tea. Designed for domestic and commercial use.
Care Instructions: This cafetière is not dishwasher safe. To clean, carefully remove the plunger mechanism. Wash the carafe and plunger separately using warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a soft cloth to prevent water spots and maintain the polished finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the stainless steel surface.
