Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Application
- Prepare the Surface: For best results, ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and loose material. While Stixall works in wet conditions, a cleaner surface generally yields a stronger, faster bond. If applying underwater, clear any debris from the area.
- Load Cartridge: Cut the nozzle at an angle to achieve the desired bead size. Insert the cartridge into a standard sealant application gun.
- Apply Product: Apply a continuous bead of Stixall to one surface to be bonded or directly into the joint to be sealed. Apply firmly and evenly.
- Tooling (for Sealant): For a neat finish, tool the sealant bead within `X` minutes (Info needed: specific tooling time) using a suitable tool or wet finger.
Compatibility
Everbuild Stixall Extreme Power is designed for compatibility with virtually all common building materials. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Wood
- Metal (ferrous and non-ferrous)
- Concrete & Stone
- Brick & Masonry
- Plastics (most types)
- Glass
- Ceramics
- Tiles
It removes the need to worry about material compatibility that often limits conventional products. However, always test on an inconspicuous area for sensitive or unusual substrates.
Care & Storage
- Post-Application: Clean any excess product immediately after application using a suitable cleaner (Info needed: recommended cleaner). Once cured, Stixall is very difficult to remove.
- Storage: Store cartridges in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and frost. Ensure the nozzle is tightly sealed or replaced after use to prevent curing inside the cartridge.
- Shelf Life: Info needed: Specific shelf life from manufacturing date.
