All-round road cycling shoe designed for weekend group rides, daily training, and granfondo events. Features a PU-laminated material over a comfortable mesh for reduced energy loss and long-lasting foot support. The R4 overcurve Wide provides a higher volume fit with more room at the forefoot for riders with wider feet. Closure is fast, reliable, and secure with a micro-adjustable BOA® IP1 dial in an Overcurve pattern. The shoe construction has a staggered collar that wraps around the ankle, tracing the natural alignment of the ankle's bony protrusions for an asymmetrical shape. The R4 outsole balances comfort and pedaling efficiency with a moderately stiff, carbon-infused nylon composition. Internal channeling provides efficient ventilation for temperature regulation. Cleat placement is optimized for pedaling efficiency and reduced knee compression, especially in aggressive aero riding positions.
