Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before your first use, ensure you are wearing the appropriate hiking socks to account for the boot's volume. To maintain the life of your Onyx boots, follow these care steps:
- Cleaning: After muddy walks, allow the mud to dry and brush it off using a soft-bristled brush.
- Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can damage the waterproof membrane and the leather material.
- Treatment: Periodically re-apply a waterproofing spray or conditioner suitable for leather to maintain the Hydropel effect.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area to prevent mildew buildup.
