FAQs
Are these trainers suitable for running?
No, the Nike Air Force 1 '07 Next Nature trainers are designed for lifestyle and casual wear, not for high-impact athletic activities like running. They offer cushioning but lack the specialized support and technology for performance running.
How do I know if I should size down?
Many users report that the Air Force 1 models, including this 'Next Nature' variant, can run slightly large. If you are between sizes or have narrower feet, it is often recommended to try a half-size down for a more snug fit.
What does 'Next Nature' mean for this shoe?
'Next Nature' signifies that the shoe incorporates sustainable materials, such as recycled content, in its construction, aiming for a more environmentally friendly production process.
Can these trainers be worn in wet weather?
While the leather offers some protection, these trainers are not waterproof. It is advisable to avoid wearing them in heavy rain or wet conditions to prevent damage and discoloration. Using a waterproofing spray can offer some protection.
What materials are used in the Nike Air Force 1 '07 Next Nature?
The primary materials include leather for the upper, textile for lining, and rubber for the outsole. Notably, some components are made from recycled materials.
How do I clean the soles?
The rubber soles can be cleaned using a damp cloth with a little soap and water. For stubborn dirt, an old toothbrush can be used gently.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too large
Consider wearing thicker socks or trying a half-size down if purchasing again. Some users find a well-fitting insole can also help.
Leather scuffs easily
Regularly clean with a damp cloth and apply a leather conditioner. For minor scuffs, a leather repair kit or white shoe polish may be effective.
Discoloration on white material
Clean immediately with a mild soap and water solution, or use a specialized white shoe cleaner. Avoid abrasive materials.
Laces become dirty
Remove laces and wash them separately by hand or in a laundry bag. They can also be replaced with new laces.
