While 100% polyester is generally durable, the shaggy pile can be challenging to keep free of pet hair. Regular vacuuming and immediate spot cleaning of accidents are essential.

Immediately blot the spill with a clean, dry white cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this can push the stain deeper into the fibers. For stubborn spots, use a very small amount of mild soap and water on a clean cloth, blotting gently, then blot dry.

This refers to the density and weight of the yarn per square meter. A `2000gr/m2` pile weight indicates a very dense and plush rug, contributing to its luxurious feel and durability.

It depends on the robot vacuum model. Some robot vacuums struggle with shaggy or high-pile rugs. Check your robot vacuum's specifications for suitability with high-pile carpets. If used, monitor its performance to ensure it doesn't get stuck or damage the pile.

Like most textiles, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading. To minimize fading, rotate the rug periodically and avoid placing it in areas with constant, intense sunlight, or use blinds/curtains to block direct rays.

Reverse roll the rug gently in the opposite direction for a short time. Alternatively, lay it flat and place heavy objects (like books) on the affected areas for 24-48 hours. Most creases will naturally disappear with time and foot traffic.

Use a non-slip rug pad underneath the rug. This will also provide extra cushioning and extend the life of the rug.

Gently fluff the pile with your fingers or a soft brush. For deeper flattening, lightly mist the area with water and then fluff. Regular rotation of the rug can also help prevent uneven wear.

Use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar, or disable the rotating brush. Opt for a suction-only vacuum or use the hose attachment with a non-beating nozzle to prevent damage to the long fibers.

Some shedding, particularly when new, is normal for shaggy rugs. Regular, gentle vacuuming will help remove loose fibers. Shedding should decrease over time.
