FAQs
Is this cushion waterproof or water-resistant?
The cushion is treated to be water-resistant, meaning it can handle light splashes and brief rain showers. It is not fully waterproof and should be protected from prolonged exposure to heavy rain.
Can I machine wash this cushion?
No, we do not recommend machine washing or tumble drying. Hand wash in cold water with mild soap and air dry flat to preserve the fabric and its water-resistant properties.
How do I switch between the two patterns?
The cushion is reversible. Simply turn it over to display the alternative striped pattern.
What is the material of the cushion?
The cushion is crafted from 100% soft-touch cotton.
What are the dimensions of the cushion?
Specific dimensions are not provided in the product description, but it is designed to fit standard outdoor seating.
Can I use this cushion indoors?
Yes, while designed for outdoor use, the comfortable cotton and stylish design make it suitable for indoor use as well.
What does the 'Oxford edge' refer to?
The Oxford edge is a type of border finishing that gives the cushion a neat, refined, and slightly formal look.
Troubleshooting
Water-resistant treatment seems less effective.
The water-resistant properties can diminish over time. Reapplication of a fabric protector suitable for outdoor cotton may be necessary. Ensure the cushion is clean and dry before application.
Minor fading after prolonged sun exposure.
While treated for outdoor use, prolonged direct sunlight can cause fading. Rotate the cushion periodically or store it indoors when not in use to minimize sun exposure.
Mildew spots appear after damp weather.
Cotton can be susceptible to mildew in humid conditions. Gently scrub affected areas with a soft brush and a mild soap and water solution. Ensure the cushion is thoroughly dried in the sun or a well-ventilated area.
