The Berghaus Beesby Half Zip Midlayer is an excellent choice for adult men seeking a reliable, versatile insulation piece for outdoor excursions or casual winter days. Crafted from durable polyester, it offers essential warmth and efficient thermal regulation, though users should note it is a dedicated midlayer that requires an outer shell in heavy rain or extreme wind conditions.

It is designed as a midlayer. While suitable for dry, cold days, it will not protect you from wind or rain without an outer shell.
The garment is constructed from 100% polyester.
Use a gentle machine cycle with mild soap. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
The Beesby is designed as a minimalist midlayer and typically does not feature external pockets to maintain a streamlined profile for layering.
Yes, the half-zip allows for ventilation, making it suitable for active use like hiking or trail walking.
Check the fleece for 'matting' of the fibers; washing with a technical fleece cleaner can help fluff the insulation back up.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the teeth and gently clean any dirt or debris out of the zipper track with a soft brush.
This midlayer requires no technical setup; it is a straightforward pullover garment. For compatibility, the XXL sizing works well with standard outdoor baselayers and pairs seamlessly with Berghaus waterproof jackets. To maintain the integrity of the material, machine wash at a low temperature with mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can degrade the wicking properties of the polyester. Always air dry the garment to prevent fabric degradation from high-heat tumble dryers.
