Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up, simply place the griddle on a flat, heat-resistant surface and plug it into a standard power outlet. Allow the unit to preheat for approximately two minutes before adding food. Because of the non-stick coating, avoid using metal utensils, as these can scratch and degrade the surface; silicone or wooden spatulas are recommended. After cooking, always unplug the device and wait for the plates to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the plates down with a damp, non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Never immerse the entire unit in water, as it contains electrical components.
