FAQs

Is this coat suitable for winter?

It is best suited for transitional weather. It is unlined, so it may not provide enough warmth for freezing winter temperatures unless layered with heavy knitwear.

What material is the coat made of?

The coat is crafted from 100% polyester, known for its durability and resistance to shrinking.

Can I put this coat in the dryer?

It is recommended to air dry the coat on a hanger to prevent heat damage to the fabric and to ensure the garment retains its shape.

Does the coat have a lining?

No, this specific model is unlined, which contributes to its lightweight and breathable nature.

How should I style this coat for a professional look?

For a professional appearance, pair it with slim-fit tailored trousers, a neutral-toned top, and closed-toe leather boots or loafers.

Troubleshooting

Visible wrinkles in the fabric

Use a handheld garment steamer on a low heat setting, keeping the nozzle a few inches away from the material.

Static cling

Lightly mist the lining or interior with a fabric refresher spray or use an anti-static spray on the inside of the garment.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Elegant and timeless aesthetic

Cons

Unlined fabric provides limited insulation for deep winter
Requires careful storage to prevent wrinkling
Material is lightweight and may not be windproof

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To maintain the coat's finish and shape, adhere to the following care instructions:

Cleaning: Check the internal care label for specific washing instructions, typically recommending gentle cycle or hand washing for polyester fabrics.
Storage: Always hang the coat on a sturdy, appropriately sized hanger to maintain the structure of the set-in sleeves and collar.
Wrinkle Removal: If the coat arrives with creases from transit, use a garment steamer on a low setting or hang it in a steamy bathroom to allow wrinkles to release naturally.
Compatibility: This piece fits well over standard mid-weight sweaters and long-sleeve tops but may feel tight if worn over excessively bulky oversized layers.
