Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unboxing: Remove the trainers from their packaging.
- Initial Fit: Before first wear, ensure the trainers fit comfortably. There should be about a thumb's width space between your child's longest toe and the end of the shoe.
- Lacing/Fastening: Ensure laces are securely tied or fasteners are properly secured to prevent tripping and provide a snug fit.
Compatibility
- Age Group: Specifically designed for toddlers.
- Gender: Unisex design, suitable for both boys and girls.
- Activities: Best for casual daily wear, light play, and walking. Not recommended for rigorous sports that require specialized athletic footwear or extremely muddy conditions.
- Socks: Always wear with socks to ensure comfort, absorb moisture, and prevent friction.
Care Instructions
Caring for suede shoes helps maintain their appearance and extends their lifespan:
- Immediate Cleaning: If trainers get dirty, clean them as soon as possible.
- Brush Off Dirt: Use a soft-bristled `suede brush` (or a clean, dry toothbrush) to gently brush off any loose dirt or mud once it's dry.
- Spot Cleaning: For light marks or stains, use a `suede eraser` or a small amount of `suede cleaner` applied to a clean cloth. Gently rub the affected area. Always test cleaners on an inconspicuous spot first.
- Avoid Water: Suede is not waterproof. Avoid wearing in heavy rain or deep puddles. If they get wet, stuff them with paper towels to absorb moisture and let them air dry away from direct heat.
- Protection: Consider applying a `suede protector spray` before first wear and periodically thereafter to help repel water and stains.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
