The Regatta Highton Stretch Zip-Off walking trousers are an ideal choice for active kids who enjoy hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors. Crafted from Isoflex active stretch fabric, these versatile trousers offer maximum mobility and feature a convenient zip-off design that transforms them into shorts, though they are primarily intended for light to moderate outdoor activity rather than extreme mountaineering.

These are designed with a water-repellent finish for light rain and moisture, but they are not waterproof and may become saturated in prolonged heavy downpours.
The trousers feature an adjustable waistband, which provides flexibility. We recommend referencing the age-group sizing provided in the product specifications for the most accurate fit.
Yes, the zippers are designed for outdoor use, but it is best practice to keep them clean from grit and mud to ensure smooth operation.
The UV protection 50+ is built into the fabric, but following care instructions and avoiding harsh chemicals will help maintain the garment's performance over time.
Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle and allow them to air dry; avoid using fabric softeners as they can interfere with the water-repellent finish.
They are ideal for spring, summer, and early autumn, but they do not provide heavy insulation and are not suitable for freezing winter conditions.
Check for fabric caught in the zipper track and ensure the teeth are free from dirt or debris; apply a small amount of zipper lubricant if necessary.
The DWR finish may wear off after repeated washes; apply a standard DWR spray treatment to restore the water-shedding properties.
Use the internal button-hole elastic adjustment found on the inside of the waistband to pull in the fabric for a snugger fit.
To maintain the longevity of your Regatta Highton trousers, always close the zips before machine washing. It is recommended to wash on a cool, gentle cycle using a technical fabric cleaner or a mild detergent to avoid stripping the water-repellent finish. For the best fit, utilize the internal button adjustment on the waistband to tighten or loosen as needed. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as this can damage the elasticity and protective coatings. Air drying is the most effective method to preserve the integrity of the fabric and the zipper mechanisms.
