FAQs

Is this product suitable for outdoor use?

No, this set is designed for indoor use only. The water-resistant base protects against minor floor dampness but is not weather-proof.

Can the covers be removed and machine washed?

No, the covers are not designed to be removed. Please use spot cleaning with a damp cloth for maintenance.

What is the age recommendation for this set?

This product is designed for children, though adult supervision is recommended for very young toddlers.

Does the set arrive flat-packed?

No, the ICON Freddie Fox Dome and Cushion Bundle arrives fully assembled and ready for use right out of the box.

Is the child-safety zip meant to be opened?

The safety zip is designed to prevent children from accessing the filling. It typically requires a paperclip or tool to operate, and it should remain closed at all times.

Troubleshooting

The dome feels like it has lost its shape

Gently shake and 'fluff' the dome to redistribute the internal beads and restore its structure.

The fabric has collected surface dust

Use a soft-bristled brush or a handheld vacuum with an upholstery attachment to remove debris.

Minor liquid spill on the surface

Immediately blot the area with an absorbent cloth; do not rub, as this can push liquid deeper into the fibers.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Adorable fox-themed aesthetic that appeals to children
Soft-touch, high-quality cord fabric
Lightweight and easy to move around the house
Features a secure child-safety zip
Water-resistant base for enhanced durability

Cons

Bean bag fill may settle over time and require re-plumping
Not suitable for outdoor use despite water-resistant base
Spot cleaning only, which can be challenging for major spills

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This bundle arrives fully assembled and ready for immediate use. To maintain the set, regularly plump the dome to redistribute the beads, which prevents the seat from flattening. For routine cleaning, wipe the cord fabric with a damp cloth to remove surface dust or minor spills. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or machine washing, as this may compromise the fabric's integrity and the safety zipper mechanism. Ensure the product is placed away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which could dry out or damage the internal bead filling.
