Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup & First Wear
Your Cerys Comfort Court Shoes are ready to wear right out of the box. For the best initial experience:
- Try them on indoors: Wear them for a short period around the house to confirm fit and comfort.
- Break-in period: Faux leather can soften with wear. If they feel a little snug initially, wear them for short durations with thin socks until they conform to your foot shape.
- Ensure proper fit: Check that your toes have ample room and your heel feels secure without slipping excessively.
Compatibility
These court shoes are highly versatile and compatible with a range of wardrobe styles:
- Professional Attire: Ideal for business suits, tailored separates, and corporate dresses.
- Smart Casual: Easily pairs with chinos, dark jeans, smart skirts, and blouses or knitwear.
- Seasonal Versatility: Suitable for year-round wear in most climates, though not designed for extreme weather conditions.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your faux leather shoes.
- Cleaning: Wipe regularly with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and light dirt. For tougher marks, use a mild soap solution on a cloth, then wipe clean with a separate damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Spot Treatment: Address spills or marks immediately to prevent staining.
- Drying: If wet, stuff the shoes with paper to absorb moisture and maintain shape. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using shoe trees to help maintain their shape over time. Avoid crushing them in crowded closets.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishing waxes designed for genuine leather, as these can damage the faux leather material.
