Ensure the glass turntable is correctly placed on the center ring and is rotating freely. Stir or turn food halfway through the cooking cycle.
Immediately stop the microwave and check for any metal containers, utensils, or foil wrappers inside. Clean any leftover food splatters from the interior walls.
To set up your microwave, place it on a flat, level surface with adequate ventilation space on all sides to prevent overheating. Ensure the unit is plugged directly into a wall outlet rather than an extension cord for safety. For daily care, wipe the interior walls with a damp cloth after each use to prevent food buildup. The glass turntable should be removed and cleaned in the dishwasher or with warm, soapy water periodically. Never operate the microwave empty, as this can damage the magnetron. Avoid using metal utensils or foil, as these can cause arcing and damage the unit's interior.
