Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the Raider 16 Max begins by connecting the dedicated power adapter, as the hardware requires substantial wattage for full performance. Upon first boot, follow the Windows 11 setup wizard to connect to Wi-Fi 7 and enable Windows Hello via the fingerprint reader. The laptop supports Thunderbolt 5, allowing for high-speed external storage and display connections. To maintain the system, ensure the intake vents on the bottom and sides remain unobstructed by soft surfaces, and use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and chassis. Periodically check for driver updates through the MSI management software to ensure the Intel and NVIDIA components are performing at their peak.
