Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Upon receiving your adidas F50 Elite Laceless FG boots, decide which sockliner best suits your playing style and comfort preference: the SL (Superlight) for maximum speed, or the Comfort sockliner for additional cushioning. Simply insert your chosen sockliner. It's recommended to break in the boots during a few training sessions to allow the Fibertouch upper and Primeknit collar to mold to your foot shape for optimal comfort and performance.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. They are ideal for natural grass pitches that are firm or slightly damp. Using them on artificial grass (AG), hard ground (HG), or indoor courts is not recommended as it can accelerate wear and tear on the soleplate and studs, potentially voiding any warranty.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove loose dirt and grass with a soft brush or damp cloth. For more stubborn grime, use a specialized boot cleaner. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Always allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using boot trees can help maintain their shape.
- Lacquer Wear: Be aware that the lacquer finish on the bottom of the soleplate may wear off during play. This is a normal cosmetic occurrence and will not affect the performance or durability of the product.
