FAQs
Are the Vans UltraRange EXO shoes waterproof?
These trainers are not specifically designed as waterproof footwear and may absorb moisture in heavy rain.
Can I use these for long-distance running?
While durable and supportive, they are optimized for versatility and daily wear rather than technical long-distance running.
How do I determine the right size?
These are standard adult UK sizes; it is recommended to select your usual size, keeping in mind the supportive fit of the UltraRange series.
Can I replace the insoles?
The internal cushioning is designed for the shoe, but if necessary, they can typically accommodate orthotic insoles if the original inserts are removed.
What is the best way to clean the black fabric?
A soft-bristle brush is best for removing dried dirt, followed by a gentle wipe with a damp cloth.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel slightly tight after initial wear
Adjust the lacing pattern to be looser across the bridge of the foot to allow for natural foot expansion.
Visible scuffs on white accents
Use a specialized rubber eraser or a damp cloth with mild detergent to gently lift surface dirt from the white detailing.
Inner heel wear
Ensure the shoes are fully unlaced when putting them on or taking them off to prevent friction damage to the heel lining.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Vans UltraRange EXO trainers remain in top condition, focus on consistent upkeep. When first receiving your shoes, ensure they are laced securely to match your arch height for maximum comfort. For sizing, the unisex design should fit true to size based on your standard adult UK shoe measurements. Regarding care, avoid machine washing; instead, spot clean with a soft brush and mild soap to maintain the integrity of the materials. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent material warping or adhesive damage. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use to preserve the cushioning properties.
