FAQs
Can I use this doormat outside?
This product is designed for indoor use. While it is durable, prolonged exposure to harsh weather and direct sunlight will degrade the recycled cotton fibers.
Is the mat safe to use on heated floors?
Yes, the materials used are suitable for most indoor floor types, including those with underfloor heating systems.
Will it fit under my front door?
With a 9mm pile height, it is designed to fit under most standard doors, but we recommend measuring the gap between your door and floor to be certain.
Can I put it in the tumble dryer?
We recommend air drying the mat. High heat from a tumble dryer may damage the latex backing over time.
Are the materials pet-safe?
Yes, the mat is constructed from non-toxic materials, making it perfectly safe for homes with pets.
Troubleshooting
The mat slides on my floor
Ensure the floor surface is clean and dry before placing the mat. Dust or wax buildup on the floor can sometimes reduce the effectiveness of the latex backing.
The mat is not absorbing as much dirt as usual
The cotton fibers may be saturated with dust. Shake the mat vigorously outside or machine wash it at 30°C to restore its trapping capabilities.
Pros and Cons

- Captures up to 95% of incoming debris and moisture
- Environmentally friendly design using recycled cotton
- Fits under most doors thanks to the 9mm slim profile
- Secure anti-slip backing prevents sliding on smooth surfaces
- Simple machine-washable maintenance
Cons
- Designed specifically for indoor use
- May require regular washing to maintain maximum dirt-trapping efficiency
- Not intended for heavy-duty outdoor scrubbing
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To begin, simply place the mat in your desired entryway. Because it features a latex-based non-slip backing, it works effectively on almost all indoor floor surfaces without the need for additional underlays. If the mat arrives slightly compressed from shipping, a quick shake or light vacuuming will help the fibers fluff up to their full 9mm height. For care, vacuum regularly to remove surface debris. When the mat becomes heavily soiled, it can be machine washed at 30°C. Always allow the mat to air dry completely after washing before returning it to the floor to ensure the backing remains effective and the fibers stay fresh.
