The Adidas Handball Spezial Bold trainers are designed for adult fashion-forward individuals looking to blend retro athletic heritage with modern street style. These shoes feature a distinctive elevated rubber platform that makes a bold aesthetic statement while retaining the classic silhouette of the Handball Spezial series. One caveat to keep in mind is that the suede upper requires consistent care to maintain its texture and vibrant red and yellow colorway, making these better suited for dry-weather urban wear than rugged outdoor environments.

While the Handball Spezial originated as a court shoe, the 'Bold' platform variant is designed primarily for lifestyle fashion and casual wear rather than intense athletic performance.
The Adidas Handball Spezial line generally fits true to size, but the platform construction may feel slightly different in the heel lockdown compared to original versions.
No, you should never put suede trainers in a washing machine, as the water and agitation will ruin the material and shape of the shoe.
Use a suede protector spray specifically designed for red or colored suede to help repel water and prevent dirt from setting into the fibers.
The platform sole is made of rubber to provide that bold look, which adds some weight compared to traditional thin-soled retro trainers.
Use a soft-bristled suede brush to gently stroke the fabric in the direction of the nap to restore its texture.
Use a dedicated suede eraser to gently rub the affected area. Avoid using standard soap and water, which can leave rings.
Clean the rubber sole edges with a mild soap solution and a cloth, then dry immediately to prevent moisture seepage into the suede.
To ensure your Adidas Handball Spezial Bold trainers remain in peak condition, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading. Use a suede-specific brush to gently lift dirt and maintain the nap of the material. For compatibility, these trainers work best with casual streetwear and smart-casual outfits. Avoid wearing them in heavy rain or mud, as moisture can damage the suede texture and lead to permanent water spotting. If cleaning is necessary, use a specialized suede eraser or cleaning kit rather than water-based solutions.
