Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions (General):
- Preparation: Put on the provided gloves. Ensure your hair is dry and free of styling products. Drape an old towel over your shoulders.
- Mixing: Follow the specific instructions in the product leaflet to mix the color components. Typically, this involves combining the colorant with the developer in the applicator bottle and shaking well.
- Application: Apply the mixture evenly to your hair, starting from the roots and working towards the ends. For even distribution, you may use a wide-tooth comb.
- Processing: Allow the color to process for the duration specified in the instructions. This is crucial for color development.
- Rinsing: Rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Follow with a color-protecting conditioner, if provided, to seal in color and add shine.
Compatibility:
- Age Group: This product is designed for adult use.
- Gender: Suitable for Female users, though hair color is a personal choice regardless of gender.
- Hair Type: Suitable for most hair types. Best vivid results are achieved on pre-lightened or naturally light hair. Not recommended for severely damaged or freshly permed/relaxed hair without professional advice.
- Other Variants: This Meta Vivids line also offers other shades like Lilac 9.120 and Pink 7.222, allowing for personalized color choices.
Care & Maintenance:
- Wash Less Frequently: Extend the life of your coral color by washing your hair every 2-3 days instead of daily.
- Use Color-Safe Products: Always use shampoos and conditioners specifically formulated for color-treated hair to prevent premature fading.
- Cool Water Rinses: Rinse your hair with cooler water, as hot water can open the hair cuticle and cause color to leach out faster.
- UV Protection: Protect your hair from prolonged sun exposure, which can cause color to fade. Consider using UV protectant sprays or wearing a hat.
- Heat Styling: Minimize heat styling. When using heat tools, always apply a heat protectant spray.
- Avoid Chlorine: Chlorine in pools can strip hair color. Wet your hair and apply conditioner before swimming to create a barrier, or wear a swim cap.
