Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maximize the life of your jacket, ensure the main zip is fully engaged and the storm flap is secured before heading out into heavy downpours. The inner liner is attached via a central zipper system; ensure this is completely zipped to avoid cold spots. To maintain the waterproof efficacy, wash the jacket periodically with a technical detergent specifically formulated for waterproof breathable membranes, avoiding fabric softeners which can clog the pores. After washing, you may need to apply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray to the outer surface once the factory coating begins to lose its beading effect. Always hang-dry your jacket in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators.
