FAQs

Does this costume include shoes?

No, the package includes only the dress and the matching hat.

What age group is this size for?

This specific variant is sized for children aged 9-10 (UK size).

Is the dress machine washable?

While the fabric is durable, we strongly recommend hand washing to ensure the rainbow web design remains vibrant.

Can I wear a shirt underneath?

Yes, the sleeveless design makes it very easy to layer a long-sleeved black top underneath for added warmth.

What material is the costume made of?

The costume is made of lightweight synthetic fabric typically used for costume wear, chosen for its comfort and ease of movement.

Troubleshooting

Hat brim is wrinkled or misshapen

Gently steam the hat or stuff it with tissue paper for a few hours to restore its shape.

Fabric appears static

Lightly mist the garment with water or use a dedicated anti-static spray from a distance.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep the Smiffys Rainbow Web Witch Costume in the best condition, follow these guidelines:

  1. Care: We recommend hand washing the garment in cool water and hanging it to air dry. Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach, as these can damage the vibrant spider web print.
  2. Storage: Store the hat upright or flat to prevent the brim from losing its shape.
  3. Compatibility: Since the costume is sleeveless and reaches mid-length, it is highly compatible with basic black leggings or thermal wear if you are using this in colder environments.
  4. Handling: Iron on a low setting if necessary, but be sure to avoid direct contact with the patterned sections of the fabric.
