Product Information
Full details
The Tacx Deva Bottle Cage is designed for road cyclists and gravel riders who require a secure, lightweight storage solution for their hydration during intense rides. Its standout feature is the unique cylindrical geometry that provides exceptional clamping force, ensuring bottles stay put even when navigating harsh cobblestones or bumpy terrain; however, users should note that the cage's rigid design is optimized for standard bicycle water bottles and may not accommodate oversized or unusually shaped containers.

Troubleshooting
Bottle is too difficult to insert or remove
Ensure you are using a standard bicycle water bottle. If the cage is brand new, the material may take a few uses to break in slightly.
Cage feels loose or rattles
Check that the mounting bolts are tightened securely to the frame. If the cage material itself is damaged, it should be replaced.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Extremely secure grip prevents bottle loss on rough terrain
- Very lightweight at only 32g
- Durable construction materials (Carbon, Glass fiber, Polyamide)
- Easy to insert and remove bottles while riding
Cons
- Not adjustable for different bottle sizes
- May be too tight for some non-standard bottle shapes
- Single mounting configuration
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To install the Tacx Deva, use a standard 4mm hex key to secure the cage to your bicycle frame's bottle cage bosses using the existing bolts. Ensure the bolts are tightened firmly, but avoid overtightening to prevent damaging the frame or the cage material.
Compatibility is universal for frames with standard bottle cage mounting holes. For care, simply wipe the cage down with a damp cloth if it becomes dirty after a ride. Because it is constructed from high-quality composite materials, it does not require lubrication or specialized maintenance. Periodically check the mounting bolts during your routine bike safety check to ensure they remain secure.
