Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup & Fitting
- Unboxing: Carefully remove your boots from the packaging.
- First Fit: Wear your usual football socks. Slide your foot into the boot. The laceless design should provide a snug fit.
- Check Comfort: Ensure there are no pressure points or excessive tightness. The ADIKNIT sock component should feel comfortable and secure around your ankle.
- Walk Around: Take a few steps and make some light movements to get a feel for the boots. A slight break-in period on the pitch is often beneficial to fully adapt the boots to your foot.
Compatibility
- Surface: These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG). This refers to natural grass pitches that are not excessively wet or muddy.
- Optimal Performance: For best performance, wear them exclusively on firm, natural grass. Using them on artificial grass (AG), soft ground (SG), or indoor surfaces may compromise performance, damage the boots, and could potentially void any warranty.
Product Care & Maintenance
To maximize the lifespan and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Each Use: After every game or training session, clean any mud or dirt from the boots. Use a soft brush or damp cloth.
- Gentle Washing: For stubborn dirt, use mild soap and water. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials, as these can damage the synthetic upper.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources (e.g., radiators, hairdryers) as this can cause the material to crack or deform.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using boot trees or stuffing them with newspaper to help retain their shape.
- Avoid Submerging: Do not submerge the boots in water for extended periods.
- Regular Inspection: Periodically check the studs and outsole for wear or damage. While synthetic, ensure the upper remains flexible and free from tears.
