FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for running?
While inspired by classic running designs, the P-6000 is intended primarily for lifestyle and casual use rather than performance athletic training.
How do I determine my size?
These trainers follow standard adult sizing. If you are between sizes, consider the fit of your previous Nike footwear as a reference.
Can I put these in the washing machine?
It is not recommended. Machine washing can compromise the adhesives and damage the leather materials. Stick to hand cleaning.
Do the mesh areas require special protection?
You can use a standard sneaker protective spray to help repel water and stains from both the mesh and leather components.
What is the primary material used?
The P-6000 features a combination of breathable mesh and supportive leather overlays.
Troubleshooting
Visible scuffs on leather
Use a leather cleaner specifically formulated for athletic footwear and apply with a microfiber cloth.
Reduced comfort or cushioning
Check if the inner sole has shifted or worn down. Replace with a standard or custom insert if necessary.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- Excellent underfoot cushioning
- Lightweight and breathable materials
- Durable rubber outsole for longevity
Cons
- Light colours may show dirt easily
- Leather requires specific care
- Not intended for high-intensity athletic training
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Nike P-6000 trainers maintain their appearance, follow these care steps:
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather sections with a damp cloth and mild soap. Use a soft brush to gently clear debris from the mesh areas.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, as these can warp the foam and damage the leather.
- Compatibility: These trainers are designed as standard fit for adult sizing. If you wear custom orthotics, ensure they fit comfortably within the existing footbed.
- Storage: Keep your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the silver and white colours from fading.
