Product Information

Full details

The Parker Baits OG Mini Mix Pellet is an essential tool for carp anglers who rely on solid PVA bag presentations to reach distance or create highly concentrated feeding zones. Designed for maximum versatility, this premixed blend of 0.5mm to 2mm pellets offers rapid attraction and reliable breakdown times, though users should be mindful that its high-attract nature means it is best suited for scenarios where active feeding is desired rather than long-term stationary baiting.

FAQs

Can I use these pellets for loose feeding?

While intended for PVA bags, they can be used for light baiting, though they are optimized for compact, high-attraction presentations.

Does the weekly flavouring process affect shelf life?

The fresh mixing process ensures maximum attraction, but it is recommended to use the product within a reasonable timeframe to benefit from that freshness.

Are these pellets oil-based or water-based?

They are designed for year-round use with rapid breakdown, making them highly effective in various water temperatures.

Will these pellets work with liquid additives?

Yes, but keep the application light to avoid melting the PVA bag prematurely.

Are these suitable for match fishing?

Yes, the varied sizes make them excellent for small feeders or as an attractant in groundbait mixes.

Troubleshooting

PVA bag melts before hitting the bottom

Ensure hands are bone-dry when handling and check that there is no moisture inside the bag before sealing.

Bag splits during a long-range cast

Remove all air from the bag before tying it off; compressed air pockets are the primary cause of bag failure.

Pellets feel 'tacky' or clumped

This may be due to humidity. Store in an airtight container with a silica gel sachet to maintain freshness and texture.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Perfect for tight, aerodynamic solid bag compression
High-quality, fresh ingredients processed weekly
Multi-size pellet blend for varying breakdown speeds
Broad compatibility with different hookbait types

Cons

Requires dry storage to prevent premature breakdown
Highly active nature may attract nuisance fish
Best used as part of a bag system rather than loose feeding

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure optimal performance, keep the pellets in a cool, dry environment. Since the product is flavoured, keeping the bag sealed prevents the loss of volatile attractants. When building bags, ensure your hands are completely dry, as any moisture will begin the breakdown process of both the pellets and the PVA material prematurely.
