Product Information
Full details
The Parker Baits OG Fish Pellet is designed for serious carp anglers looking for a highly attractive, high-oil bait option to hold fish in a swim for extended periods. Featuring a potent squid and octopus flavour profile, these sinking pellets are ideal for active carp fishing, particularly in warmer water conditions. While they are highly effective for drawing in big fish, users should be mindful that their high-oil content makes them better suited for seasonal use rather than extreme cold-water sessions.

FAQs
Can I use these pellets in cold water?
While effective, the high oil content is best suited for warmer months. In very cold water, oil breakdown is slower.
Are these pellets suitable for PVA bags?
Yes, they are completely PVA-friendly and ideal for solid bag presentations.
Why are there different sizes in the bag?
The mix of 4mm to 8mm pellets creates different breakdown times, ensuring your swim stays active for longer.
What is the primary flavour profile?
The OG Fish Pellet features a signature squid and octopus flavour.
How should I store the pellets?
Keep them in the original packaging, sealed tightly, and stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Can these be used as loose feed?
Yes, they are excellent for spodding over an area or catapulting short distances.
Troubleshooting
Pellets are clumping together inside the bag
This is likely due to humidity. Ensure the bag is sealed properly and stored in a cool, dry environment.
PVA bag is melting before it hits the bottom
Check if your PVA is fresh or if there is moisture on the pellets. Use a dry spoon to load your bags.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Excellent for creating long-term feeding confidence in a swim
- Mixed sizing creates a consistent cloud of attraction
- High-oil content is perfect for pulling in big carp
- Versatile for use in both spod mixes and PVA bags
Cons
- High oil content may be less effective in very cold water
- Contains fish-based attractants which may attract nuisance species
- Not suitable for long-term storage in high-moisture environments
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To maximize the effectiveness of these pellets, keep them sealed in the provided packaging to maintain the freshness of the squid and octopus flavouring. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the oils from turning rancid.
When using with PVA, ensure your hands are dry when filling your bags or sticks, as any moisture will cause the pellets to begin their breakdown process prematurely. These pellets are compatible with all standard spod rockets and baiting tools, and they integrate seamlessly with most fishmeal-based boilie ranges.
