Product Information

Full details

The adidas Samba ST trainers are designed for adult women who appreciate a blend of iconic heritage style and modern skate-inspired performance. These trainers offer the significant benefit of enhanced durability through a vulcanized construction and premium material mix, making them a reliable choice for daily wear. One important caveat to note is that the suede overlays require careful maintenance to prevent staining and preserve the texture of the material over time.

FAQs

Are these shoes true to size?

The Samba ST generally follows standard adidas sizing, but consider your preferred room for thicker socks.

Can I put these in the washing machine?

No. Machine washing can ruin the suede and damage the integrity of the vulcanized bond.

Are the Samba ST trainers waterproof?

The materials are not waterproof. Use a protective spray to help resist light moisture.

What is the primary difference from the classic Samba?

The ST version features updated proportions and a reinforced vulcanized construction for increased durability.

How do I remove scuffs from the white leather or canvas?

Use a damp cloth with mild soap for canvas or leather sections, but keep moisture away from suede.

Troubleshooting

Visible dirt on suede panels

Use a dry suede eraser or a soft brush to gently lift dirt particles without damaging the nap.

Laces coming untied frequently

Use a double knot or replace with slightly shorter laces if the current ones are causing an issue.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Enhanced durability due to vulcanized build
Versatile streetwear aesthetic suitable for various outfits
Comfortable fit for all-day use
High-quality material combination of canvas and suede

Cons

Suede material is sensitive to moisture and dirt
Requires regular cleaning to maintain appearance
Design features a specific silhouette that may not fit all foot arches perfectly

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Samba ST trainers remain in peak condition, follow these guidelines:

Fitting: Adjust the laces to ensure your foot is centered in the footbed for optimal arch support.
Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dust from the suede. For deeper cleaning, use a specialized suede cleaner and avoid submerging the shoes in water.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the suede color from fading.
Protection: Consider applying a water-repellent spray designed for suede and canvas to add a layer of protection against liquid spills and light rain.
