FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for wide feet?
These sneakers are designed for a 'cozy fit', which can accommodate a range of foot shapes. However, individuals with significantly wide feet might find them snug. It's recommended to try them on if possible or consider the next size up if you prefer more room.
Can I wear these for running or intense exercise?
No, these sneakers are designed for casual wear and light activities. They lack the specialized support and cushioning required for running or high-impact exercise.
How do the Hands Free Slip-ins® work?
The shoes are constructed with a unique heel design that keeps its shape, allowing you to slide your foot in without touching the back of the shoe. The Heel Pillow® helps to secure your foot once inside.
What does 'vegan' mean in this context?
It means the materials used in the construction of the shoe do not contain any animal products.
How often should I wash these sneakers?
Wash them as needed when they appear dirty or lose freshness. Frequent washing is not necessary unless they are heavily soiled.
Can I replace the insoles?
Yes, the Skechers Air-Cooled Memory Foam® insoles are typically removable, allowing you to replace them with your preferred insoles if desired.
What is the Glide-Step® technology?
Glide-Step® refers to the geometric design of the midsole, engineered to provide a smoother walking experience and enhanced flexibility with every step.
Troubleshooting
Shoes feel too loose
While the Heel Pillow® provides some snugness, consider using thicker socks for a tighter fit. These are designed for a relaxed, cozy feel.
Difficulty slipping foot in initially
Ensure the heel is pushed down fully. The Heel Pillow® may require a few wears to slightly adapt to your foot shape.
Discoloration after washing
Ensure you are using cold water and mild detergent as recommended. Always air dry away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
Insole feels flat after some wear
The Air-Cooled Memory Foam® may compress slightly over time. For additional cushioning, consider using a thin, compatible insole insert.
