Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Prepare Your Pole: Ensure your curtain pole is securely installed above your window frame and is appropriate for the width of your window.
- Thread Curtains: Begin by feeding the first eyelet of one curtain panel onto the end of the curtain pole.
- Alternate Eyelets: Continue threading the eyelets onto the pole, alternating direction to create an even pleat pattern. This usually means starting with the front of the curtain facing you for the first eyelet, then turning it to face away for the second, and so on.
- Hang Panels: Once both panels are threaded, position them evenly across the pole.
- Adjust Pleats: Gently adjust the fabric between the eyelets to achieve uniform, aesthetically pleasing folds.
Compatibility
These curtains are designed with an Eyelet Header, making them compatible with most standard curtain pole rails. They are not directly compatible with curtain track systems that require hooks or gliders.
Care Instructions
Crucial Care Note: These curtains are Dry Clean Only.
- Regular Maintenance: To remove light dust, gently vacuum the curtains with an upholstery attachment or use a soft, dry cloth for dusting. Avoid rubbing aggressively.
- Deep Cleaning: For thorough cleaning or to remove stains, always consult a professional dry cleaner. Attempting to wash or wet-clean the curtains may damage the fabric, alter the drape, or cause shrinkage.
- Avoid Moisture: Do not use water or liquid cleaning solutions on the fabric, as this can leave watermarks or damage the jacquard weave.
