Nike Vomero Plus Road Running Shoes - Volt/Lime Blast - UK 12

Yes, the ZoomX foam midsole provides excellent cushioning and energy return, making them suitable for marathon distances and long runs.

While the shoes offer good cushioning, they are primarily designed for road running. For cross-training or gym workouts, specialized shoes with lateral support might be more appropriate.

Ensure there is about a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe. The heel should feel secure without excessive slipping, and the midfoot should be snug but not tight.

It is generally recommended to replace running shoes every 300-500 miles (480-800 kilometers), or when you notice a significant decrease in cushioning or support.

The Vomero Plus line is known for its balanced cushioning and responsiveness, often featuring ZoomX foam, making it a versatile choice for daily training and longer runs compared to racing flats or highly minimalist shoes.

Use a soft brush or damp cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid scrubbing vigorously. Allow to air dry completely.

Ensure the rubber outsole is clean and free from mud or debris. Check for excessive wear on the outsole pattern. Consider if running on very wet or slippery surfaces where specialized traction may be limited.

Verify you have the correct shoe size. Try wearing them with different types of running socks. Ensure the laces are tied appropriately, not too tight or too loose. Break them in gradually with shorter runs.

The ZoomX foam's responsiveness may slightly decrease with extensive use. This is normal wear and tear. Consider replacing the shoes after approximately 300-500 miles, depending on usage and running style.
