Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance from your Peregrine 16s, follow these guidelines:
- Fit: Ensure you have a thumbs-width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe to account for foot swelling on long hikes.
- Lacing: Use the secure lacing system to customize the tension across your arch; ensure it is snug but not constricting to avoid circulation issues.
- Cleaning: Remove loose dirt with a soft brush after every hike. If shoes become heavily soiled, hand wash them in cool water with mild soap. Do not put them in a washing machine or dryer.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes naturally by removing the insoles and stuffing the interiors with newspaper or a dry cloth to absorb moisture. Keep them away from direct heat sources like radiators, as this can warp the midsole and damage the adhesive.
