The fabric is designed to be translucent enough to allow light to pass through while softening the beam, providing a warm diffused effect.
Ensure the shade is centered on the pendant fitting and that the ring reducer is fully tightened against the bulb holder.
Check if the bulb is centered within the shade; if the bulb is tilted, adjust the pendant cord to straighten it.
Use a lint roller or a soft-bristled upholstery attachment on a vacuum cleaner to gently remove dust.
To set up your shade, ensure your pendant light is turned off at the main switch. Remove the existing shade if present, then use the provided ring size reducer to adjust the fitting to your bulb holder (E14, E27, or B22). Slide the shade onto the pendant fitting and secure it tightly before re-attaching the bulb. For care, avoid using abrasive cleaners on the fabric. Regularly dust the shade with a soft, dry microfiber cloth or a gentle duster to maintain its appearance. Do not immerse the shade in water or use spray cleaners, as this may damage the fabric texture.
