The Dare 2B Upshape IV Ski Trousers are designed for female skiers who value a refined, streamlined silhouette without sacrificing technical mountain performance. Featuring advanced ARED 15/15 waterproof and breathable fabric, these trousers are perfect for long days on the slopes; however, users should note that the tapered fit may be more restrictive than traditional, looser-cut ski pants.

The Upshape IV series focuses on a technical, tapered shell design. It is recommended to wear thermal base layers underneath for warmth in cold temperatures.
It refers to a 15,000mm waterproof rating and a 15,000g/m²/24h breathability rating, indicating strong protection against rain and snow while allowing sweat to escape.
Yes, machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with technical gear detergent, but avoid fabric softeners or bleach.
While tailored, the fabric is engineered for athletic movement; however, those preferring a baggy fit may find them more restrictive.
Yes, they are manufactured without harmful PFCs, PFOAs, or PFOS.
The DWR finish has likely worn off. Re-apply a technical water-repellent spray specifically designed for synthetic technical shells.
This is likely condensation buildup from high activity. Ensure you are wearing moisture-wicking base layers rather than cotton.
To ensure the longevity of your trousers, always verify the size using the UK dress size standard (e.g., Size 10). When washing, use a technical gear cleaner rather than standard laundry detergent to protect the DWR finish. Do not use fabric softeners, as these can clog the breathable pores of the ARED membrane. For best results, air dry the trousers away from direct heat sources. Regularly check the zip and button fastenings to ensure they remain free of grit or ice after a day on the mountain.
