Setup, Compatibility & Care
When you first receive your Birkenstock Boston clogs, use the metal buckle to adjust the strap so the shoe feels secure without cutting into your skin. Note that Birkenstocks perform best when they have a small amount of space at both the heel and the toes. To care for your suede clogs, use a specialized suede brush to remove surface dirt. Avoid wearing them in heavy rain, as prolonged moisture can damage the natural properties of the cork-latex footbed and the texture of the suede. If the footbed becomes slightly darkened over time, this is normal and represents the leather lining absorbing oils from your skin.
