Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Utilize the tubular lace fastening to adjust the fit. Start from the bottom eyelets and work your way up, ensuring an even tension. The padded ankle collar should fit snugly but comfortably around your ankle.
- Sizing Check: Before permanent wear, remove the included "Does it Fit?" sockliner. This tool helps you confirm if the boot is the correct size. Follow the instructions on the sockliner for an accurate assessment. If the size is incorrect, consider a different size for optimal comfort and performance.

Care
- Cleaning the Leather Upper: For the premium nubuck leather, gently brush off any loose dirt or debris with a soft brush. For tougher spots, use a specialized nubuck cleaner and follow its instructions carefully. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive water that can damage the leather.
- Gore-Tex® Membrane Care: The Gore-Tex membrane requires minimal maintenance. If the boots get muddy, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use fabric softeners, bleach, or strong detergents, as these can compromise the membrane's waterproofing.
- Drying: Always allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or hairdryers, as extreme heat can damage the leather and adhesives.
- Conditioning: To maintain the leather's suppleness and prevent cracking, consider using a leather conditioner specifically formulated for nubuck. Apply sparingly and buff gently.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Stuffing them with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb residual moisture.
