Setup, Compatibility & Care
For optimal results, these porcelain slabs must be laid on a full, solid bed of mortar over a prepared sub-base. It is critical to apply a high-quality paving primer to the underside of each slab before laying to ensure a permanent bond with the mortar bed. Do not attempt to lay these slabs on a 'dot and dab' pattern, as this will lead to slab failure. For cutting, use professional-grade diamond-tipped blades specifically designed for porcelain to achieve a clean edge without chipping. Maintenance is minimal; standard cleaning involves simply hosing down the patio with water and mild detergent. The non-porous nature of the vitrified surface ensures that oil, organic matter, and grime are easily removed without aggressive scrubbing or abrasive cleaners.
