Full details
The Puma Speedcat Ballet in Black Mauve Mist is designed for the fashion-conscious adult female who appreciates a blend of sporty heritage and graceful aesthetics. Its key benefit lies in its unique design, merging racing DNA with ballet shoe elements for a chic, versatile look. A potential caveat is that its fashion-forward design may not offer the same level of robust support as traditional athletic footwear. This shoe features a matte-black suede upper, soft pink Formstrip, embroidered cat logo, and elastic bands replacing traditional laces, all inspired by ballet shoes. An Ortholite insole provides cushioning, while a rubber outsole offers grip.

FAQs
What makes this shoe different from the original Speedcat?
The Speedcat Ballet replaces the original's lacing system with four elastic bands, inspired by ballet shoes, and features a design that blends racing heritage with a more graceful, fashion-oriented aesthetic.
Are these shoes suitable for athletic activities?
These shoes are primarily designed for fashion and casual wear. They offer cushioning and a stylish look but are not intended for intense athletic training or performance.
How do I clean the black suede material?
Use a soft brush for dry dirt. For stains, a suede eraser or a slightly damp cloth can be used cautiously. Avoid excessive water, and always air dry.
What is the purpose of the elastic bands?
The elastic bands mimic the design of ballet shoes, providing a secure, snug fit across the midfoot while contributing to the shoe's unique aesthetic.
What is the benefit of the Ortholite insole?
The Ortholite insole provides enhanced cushioning, shock absorption, breathability, and moisture management for improved comfort throughout the day.
What is the outsole made of?
The outsole is made of durable rubber with a tire-tread pattern, designed to offer reliable traction.
Troubleshooting
Suede material looks dull or dirty.
Gently brush the suede with a suede brush to restore its texture. For stubborn dirt, use a suede eraser or a slightly damp cloth.
Shoes feel too tight initially.
Gently stretch the elastic bands over the midfoot to loosen them slightly. Wear them for short periods initially to allow them to adapt to your foot shape.
Reduced grip on the outsole.
Ensure the rubber outsole is clean and free from debris. If wear is significant, the grip may be reduced due to normal usage.
