FAQs
What type of bed base is required for this headboard?
The Silentnight Lyon Headboard is a strutted design, best suited for divan bed bases that have pre-drilled holes for attachment.
What are the dimensions of the King size headboard?
The King size Silentnight Lyon Headboard measures H57 x W150 x D6cm.
How is the headboard attached to the bed?
It attaches via the struts, which are secured to the corresponding holes on a divan bed base, typically using screws or bolts.
What is the warranty period for this headboard?
The Silentnight Lyon Headboard comes with a 5-year guarantee.
Can I use this headboard with a slatted bed frame?
This headboard is designed for divan bases. Attaching it to a slatted frame may require a separate headboard fitting kit and might not provide the same level of stability.
How do I clean the fabric of the headboard?
Use a soft, dry cloth for regular dusting. For minor marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Avoid harsh cleaning agents.
Is this headboard available in other colors?
Yes, the Silentnight Lyon headboard is available in a range of modern colors, including Sandstone, Black, Grey, and Dove, depending on the specific product listing.
Troubleshooting
Headboard is wobbly
Ensure the struts are securely fastened to the divan bed base. Check that all screws or bolts are tightened firmly. If the divan base does not have pre-drilled holes, consider using a headboard fitting kit suitable for your base.
Struts don't align with bed base holes
Verify that you have the correct size headboard for your bed. Some divan bases may have alternative hole placements; try adjusting the height of the headboard or using a different set of holes if available. A universal headboard fitting kit might offer more flexibility.
Fabric appears faded or stained
For light fading, avoid direct, prolonged sunlight. For stains, attempt to clean gently with a slightly damp cloth. For stubborn stains, consult a professional upholstery cleaning service.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The Silentnight Lyon Headboard is a strutted design, meaning it typically attaches to the bed using the existing holes on a divan bed base. Simply align the struts with the corresponding holes on your bed frame and secure them using the provided screws or bolts (check your bed's original fittings).
Compatibility: This headboard is primarily designed for use with divan bed bases. Ensure your divan base has pre-drilled holes at the appropriate height for the headboard struts. It may not be suitable for bed frames with integrated headboard attachments or slatted bases unless specific adaptation is possible.
Care: To maintain the luxurious feel of the fabric, regular dusting with a soft, dry cloth is recommended. For minor spills or stains, use a slightly damp cloth and blot the area gently. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the upholstery.
