A sateen weave uses a specific interlacing of threads that results in a smoother, silkier surface with a slight sheen, enhancing the luxurious feel of the fabric.

Troubleshooting

Duvet cover feels stiff after washing.

Ensure you are washing at the recommended 40 degrees Celsius with a mild detergent and tumble drying on low heat. Avoid using harsh chemicals or fabric softeners that can degrade cotton fibers over time.

Pillowcases don't fit standard pillows.

Confirm that you are using standard UK pillow sizes. The included pillowcases are 'housewife' style, designed for this standard size. If using non-standard pillows, alternative pillowcase styles may be needed.

Color appears different than expected.

Lighting conditions during photography and screen display settings can affect color perception. Always refer to the product description for color details and consider the 'White' designation for this item.

Fabric seems less breathable than expected.

Ensure the care instructions are followed precisely, especially regarding washing temperature and avoiding excessive heat during drying, which can compromise the fabric's natural breathability.
