Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To install, position the trellis in its desired location. For optimal stability, especially when supporting heavy plants or in exposed areas, we recommend securing the base of the trellis posts into the ground using ground spikes or concrete. Ensure the trellis is vertical before fully fixing.
Compatibility: This trellis is compatible with most types of climbing plants, from flowering vines to fruiting plants. It can be used freestanding, against walls, fences, or as a decorative feature within borders. It is designed to be used in conjunction with plant ties or supports to gently guide plant growth.
Care: The timber is dip-treated with an anti-rot solution and has a golden brown finish. To maintain its appearance and further extend its life, occasional cleaning with a damp cloth is recommended. Re-application of a suitable wood preservative or stain every few years can help protect the timber and refresh its colour, though this is not essential for its structural integrity due to the initial treatment and guarantee.
