The Stone Island Matt Ripstop Cordura Down Vest is a premium technical layering piece designed for adults seeking superior warmth-to-weight performance in cold conditions. Crafted from CORDURA nylon 6.6, it offers high durability with a unique matte, cotton-like texture, making it an ideal choice for both urban commuting and outdoor activities. While it provides excellent insulation through its RDS-certified duck down filling, users should note that as a down-insulated garment, it requires specific care procedures to maintain its loft and water-repellent qualities.

The fabric is water-resistant due to its density and material properties, but it is not a fully waterproof rain jacket.
The patch is held on by two buttons; simply align the holes on the patch with the buttons and secure them through the fabric loops.
Generally, it is safer to air dry flat. If the care label permits tumble drying, use a low heat setting with dryer balls to restore loft.
Yes, it typically fits true to standard adult sizing, though you should consider if you intend to wear thick layers underneath.
Responsible Down Standard certification ensures that the feathers used are sourced from ducks treated with animal welfare in mind.
This is common with down garments; gently pull the feather back into the vest from the inside rather than pulling it out completely.
Ensure the track is free of lint or fabric and apply a small amount of graphite lubricant to the zipper teeth.
To ensure the longevity of your Stone Island vest, avoid machine washing with harsh detergents. Always consult the care label inside the garment. Ideally, clean via professional dry cleaning or delicate hand washing using a down-specific detergent. Store the vest in a cool, dry place on a wide hanger to maintain the loft of the down filling. When traveling, avoid compressing the vest for long periods to prevent permanent crushing of the down clusters.
