FAQs

What does 'FG' mean on these football boots?

FG stands for 'Firm Ground'. These boots are designed for optimal performance on natural grass pitches that are dry and well-maintained.

How do I clean the boots to maintain their performance?

After play, brush off dirt with a soft brush or wipe with a damp cloth. Allow them to air dry naturally away from heat sources. Avoid machine washing or harsh chemicals.

Will the soleplate lacquer wearing off affect my game?

No, the wear on the lacquer finish is purely cosmetic and will not affect the boot's performance, traction, or durability.

Are these boots suitable for artificial grass?

These are FG (Firm Ground) boots and are not recommended for artificial grass. Using them on artificial surfaces can lead to premature wear and reduced performance. Look for AG (Artificial Grass) specific boots for that surface.

How does the FUZIONFIT upper provide a personalized fit?

The FUZIONFIT upper uses a combination of adaptive materials and support structures that mold to the unique shape of your foot, offering a secure and comfortable feel.

What is the benefit of the 3D FUZIONPODS?

The 3D FUZIONPODS are strategically placed to provide cushioning and protection while allowing for dynamic movement, enhancing both comfort and on-ball feel.

How do I know if I have the right size?

The boots should feel snug, with your heel locked in place and no excessive pressure points. Ensure there is a small amount of space between your longest toe and the front of the boot.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel too tight or uncomfortable

Wear the boots around the house with the socks you typically play in. Utilize the lacing system to adjust pressure points. The FUZIONFIT upper is designed to adapt over time.

Traction feels inconsistent on the pitch

Ensure the studs are clean and free from mud or debris. For optimal performance, use these boots on firm, dry natural grass pitches as intended.

Ball control seems reduced after initial use

Clean the GripControl Pro finish area with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or sweat buildup that might be affecting grip.

Lining feels rough or causes irritation

Check for any debris inside the boot. If the issue persists, consider wearing thinner socks or using a moisture-wicking sock liner.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

These football boots are designed for immediate play upon purchase. Ensure they fit snugly but comfortably. The lacing system allows for adjustments to achieve optimal lockdown.

Compatibility:

Surface: The 'FG' (Firm Ground) designation means these boots are best suited for natural grass pitches that are well-maintained and not excessively wet or muddy.
Players: Ideal for midfielders and forwards who require exceptional agility, control, and quick directional changes.

Care:

Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive materials.
Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, preferably in a breathable boot bag, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Soleplate: Be aware that the lacquer finish on the soleplate is cosmetic and may wear off with regular play. This does not impact the boot's performance or traction.
