FAQs
What are the exact dimensions of the mats?
The bathmat measures approximately 50x80cm, and the pedestal mat measures approximately 50x50cm.
Can I use fabric softener when washing?
It is generally not recommended to use fabric softener as it can reduce the absorbency of cotton fibers over time.
How often should I wash the bath mats?
For optimal hygiene and performance, it is recommended to wash the mats weekly or bi-weekly, depending on usage.
Are these mats suitable for underfloor heating?
The product information does not specify suitability for underfloor heating. It is best to place them on top of the floor as usual.
What material are the mats made from?
The mats are made entirely of 100% natural cotton pile.
Can I use bleach on these mats?
Bleach is generally not recommended for coloured cotton items as it can cause fading and damage the fibers. Refer to the care label for specific instructions.
What other colours are available?
This specific listing is for the Brown (Chocolate) colour. Other colours such as Aqua and Cream may be available from the same product line.
Troubleshooting
Mat is not lying flat
Unroll the mat and allow it to rest in a warm room for a few hours, or place heavy books around the edges. Ensure the floor beneath is flat and dry.
Reduced absorbency over time
Wash the mats according to care instructions. Fabric softeners can reduce absorbency; avoid using them. Ensure mats are fully dry before use.
Color fading after washing
Ensure you are washing with similar colours and using a mild detergent. Check the care label for specific washing temperature recommendations and avoid excessive sun exposure when drying.
