Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove the curtains from their packaging.
- Inspect: Check for any creases or wrinkles from packing. These often relax once hung or can be gently steamed.
- Prepare Rod: Ensure your curtain rod is securely mounted and extends beyond your window frame as desired.
- Hang: Simply thread your curtain rod through the integrated eyelet rings at the top of each curtain panel. Distribute the fabric evenly across the rod to achieve your desired drape and fullness.
Compatibility
These curtains are designed for modern, neutral decor. Their subdued earthy beige tone and calm, washed appearance make them highly versatile. They pair exceptionally well with minimalist interiors, Scandinavian styles, and contemporary spaces aiming for a grounded and peaceful look. The eyelet design is suitable for most standard curtain rods and creates a neat, wave-like fold.
Care
To maintain the luxurious feel and appearance of your chenille velvet curtains, follow these general guidelines:
- Material: 100% Polyester.
- Cleaning: Due to the velvet texture, spot cleaning with a damp cloth and mild detergent is often recommended for small marks. For deeper cleaning, professional dry cleaning is usually the safest option to prevent damage to the pile. Always refer to any specific care label instructions provided with your product.
- Ironing/Steaming: If wrinkles persist, use a steamer on a low setting or iron on the reverse side with a low heat, protecting the velvet pile with a pressing cloth.
- Dusting: Regularly dust the curtains with a soft brush or vacuum with an upholstery attachment on a low setting to prevent dust accumulation.
