While the Air Max 90 offers great cushioning, it is designed primarily as a lifestyle trainer rather than a dedicated high-performance running shoe.
Ensure there is about a thumb's width of space between the toes and the front of the shoe to allow for natural movement.
It is not recommended to machine wash leather trainers, as the heat and agitation can damage the materials and glue bonds.
While leather provides more protection than mesh, it is not fully waterproof; it is advisable to use a protective spray to increase water resistance.
To keep the yellow accents vibrant, avoid excessive exposure to direct sunlight and clean them with gentle, non-abrasive methods.
Use wooden shoe trees when not in use to help the leather maintain its shape and minimize deep set creases.
Use a soft-bristled brush or an old toothbrush to dislodge debris from the waffle tread pattern.
Wipe the surface of the Air unit with a damp microfiber cloth to remove dust and restore clarity.
Because these trainers feature a leather upper, proper care is essential to ensure longevity. To clean, use a soft cloth or brush to remove loose dirt from the surface. For stains, apply a mild soap with a damp cloth and gently buff the affected area. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or using harsh industrial cleaners, as this can degrade the leather finish. To maintain shape, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and consider using shoe trees if they will not be worn for an extended period.
