Product Information

Full details

This Moncler Boed down jacket is designed for adult females seeking a sophisticated winter outerwear piece. Its key benefit is providing warmth and style with a feminine silhouette accentuated by a belted waist and luxurious shearling trim. A potential caveat is the hand-wash-only care instruction for the delicate materials. The jacket features a hooded design, two-way zip closure, drawstring hood, and zipped pockets, all crafted from durable polyamide/nylon with a warm down and feather padding.

FAQs

What is the primary material of the jacket?

The exterior and lining are made from 100% Polyamide/Nylon. The padding is 90% down and 10% feather, with a long-haired shearling trim.

How should I clean the Moncler Boed down jacket?

The jacket should be hand washed only in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry. The shearling trim should be spot cleaned.

Is the hood detachable?

The jacket features a drawstring hood, and while the shearling trim is part of the hood, the hood itself is not described as detachable in the product details.

What makes the silhouette 'feminine'?

The jacket is designed with a belted waist, which allows it to be cinched, creating a more defined and feminine shape compared to a straight-cut jacket.

Does the jacket offer water resistance?

The Polyamide/Nylon exterior provides a degree of resistance to light rain and wind, but it is not a fully waterproof garment.

Are there pockets on the jacket?

Yes, the jacket is equipped with zipped pockets for secure storage.

Where is this jacket made?

The origin of this garment is China.

Troubleshooting

Jacket not providing enough warmth.

Ensure the down filling has not become compacted. Gently fluff the jacket by hand or use a low-heat dryer setting (if the care label permits and only for the down-filled parts, avoiding shearling). Check that all zippers and drawstrings are secured.

Shearling trim looks matted or dirty.

Gently brush the shearling with a soft brush to restore its loft. For stubborn dirt, spot clean with a slightly damp cloth and allow to air dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals.

Zipper is difficult to use.

Ensure the fabric is not caught in the zipper teeth. Gently try to realign the zipper. Applying a small amount of wax (like beeswax or a zipper lubricant) to the teeth can help smooth operation.

Jacket has a persistent odor.

Ensure the jacket is completely dry after washing. Airing the jacket outdoors in a well-ventilated area can help dissipate odors. If the odor persists, consult professional cleaning services experienced with down and shearling.
