FAQs

What is the capacity of the Ninja Sip Perfect Travel Mug?

The mug has a capacity of 400 ml.

Is the mug dishwasher safe?

Yes, both the mug and the lid are dishwasher safe. For best results, place them on the top rack.

How does the HeatStore technology work?

HeatStore technology absorbs excess heat from very hot liquids (e.g., 95°C) to bring them down to a comfortable sipping temperature within minutes. It then slowly releases this stored heat back into the drink, maintaining the optimal temperature for a longer period.

Can I use this mug for cold drinks?

The Ninja Sip Perfect Travel Mug is primarily designed and optimized for hot beverages, especially with its unique HeatStore technology for cooling hot liquids. While its insulated design will help keep cold drinks cool, the specialized features are focused on hot drink performance.

How do I ensure the mug is leak-proof?

To ensure it is leak-proof, make sure the LockLeak lid is properly aligned and the rocker cap is fully pressed down until it clicks into the locked position. Periodically check the silicone seals for cleanliness and damage.

What is the warranty for the Ninja Sip Perfect Travel Mug?

The mug comes with a 2-year warranty by default. This can be extended to 5 years upon registration with Ninja (UK & ROI only). Please refer to the product packaging or Ninja's official website for registration details.

Is the mug cool to the touch when filled with hot liquid?

Yes, the Ninja Sip Perfect Travel Mug is designed to be cool-to-the-touch on the exterior, even when it contains very hot liquids, ensuring comfortable handling.

Troubleshooting

Drink is not cooling to a sippable temperature quickly enough.

Ensure the mug is clean and empty before adding your hot beverage. The HeatStore technology works best when the mug starts at room temperature. For optimal performance, pour liquids at approximately 95°C.

Mug is leaking or dripping.

Verify that the LockLeak lid is correctly aligned and securely latched. Press down firmly on the rocker cap until you hear a click, indicating it is fully locked. Inspect the lid's silicone seals for any damage or debris that might prevent a proper seal. Disassemble the lid and clean all components if necessary.

Lid is difficult to open or close.

Ensure no food particles or residue are trapped within the lid mechanism. Disassemble the lid completely and rinse all parts thoroughly. If the issue persists, check for any physical damage to the button or locking mechanism.

Drink is not staying warm for long after initial cooling.

While HeatStore technology brings the drink to a sippable temperature, it then slowly releases absorbed heat. Factors like ambient temperature and how often the lid is opened can affect heat retention. Ensure the lid is kept closed and locked when not actively drinking.

Pros and Cons
